The Real Doug Lane, Whitney Lusk, and Avintaquin in Concert

January 20 @ 7:30 pm - 9:30 pm

$15.00
Doug Lane was raised in Kingsville, Texas, in the shadow of King Ranch. His father was a Navy officer and his mother was amazing. He served four years in the Army and ended his contract honorable — always thankful for the experience, and glad when it ended. His passion for music started early. “One of my earliest memories is ‘conducting’ the college orchestra with a rolled up program. I was probably 3.” From there, he studied piano, then saxophone. Doug found his voice on the guitar toward the end of his time in the Army. A lifetime musician and performer, Doug began performing his own original songs in 2014 in small venues around Utah. At his first solo gig, the owner linked his performance to another artist – another Doug Lane – and an offhand joke solidified his stage name. From that moment on, Doug began performing as The Real Doug Lane. In 2016, his song “Faces” was selected by Operation Encore, an organization that brings together singer/songwriters from across the country who are part of the military and veteran communities. His 2021 debut album “Water From the Stone” reached fans throughout the USA and built new audiences overseas with hits “After All the Drinking’s Done”, “Dancing in the Rain”, and fan-favorite “Piss On Your Shoes”. Following the success of his “Unmasked Tour” in 2021, TRDL and band will be releasing their sophomore album “King of Mediocrity” in Spring 2022. Doug currently resides in Provo, Utah with his wife, their four children, and two dogs (Dodger and Bear), and Oliver the cat.

Whitney Lusk is a home grown Country artist from Spanish Fork, Utah. This rising country star is sure to grab your attention with her catchy lyrics and phenomenal vocals! Whitney travels from L.A. to Nashville to song-write, perform and promote her music.

She’s opened for Country Legends Josh Turner, Maddie & Tae, Aaron Watson, Granger Smith, Russel Dickerson, Billy Currington, and many more.

She has worked with artists such as Colbie Caillat, and John Rzenznick (from the Goo Goo Dolls). She has written with songwriting legends Ronnie Bowman, Sharon Vaughn, Big Al Anderson, Leslie Satcher and Jason Deere.

Avintaquin: Siblings Hyrum, Grace, and Liam Peatross make up the band Avintaquin, a name borrowed from the location of their great-grandfather’s ranch. Raised on a farm in rural Utah with a steady diet of Simon & Garfunkel, 80’s, and classical music, Avintaquin is an alternative folk band that combines meaningful lyrics with sibling harmonies. As teenagers, they moved to Los Angeles for a few years to pursue acting. While there, their main focus shifted to music after discovering a passion for songwriting. The three released their first album, “Roots,” in March 2020, a nine-song album they recorded in a home studio. The worldwide pandemic brought them back to Utah, where they recorded their second album, this time at June Audio in Provo with producer Scott Wiley. “The Layman’s Odyssey” is a 14-song album divided into four seasons. Avintaquin has enjoyed spending the last year and a half playing live in the Utah Valley area at Velour Live Music Gallery, The Rise, Platinum Records, The Boardwalk, and the Angelus Theatre, as well as playing at the Fork Fest and Buzzards & Bees music festivals. They have loved having their cousins Sara Grant and Eric Peatross sit in on drums and bass during their performances, as well as friends Stacie Fleischer and Adam Warnick.
